THE RANDOX GRAND NATIONAL WEIGHTS

The unveiling of the weights for the 175th running of the Randox Grand National in 2023 took place on Tuesday 21 February at one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings – the neoclassical St George’s Hall.

Allocating different weights to the 40 runners is based on their ability and form, with the intention of giving every contender an equal chance of winning the world’s greatest steeplechase.
